Bought my '97 Ninja off a co-worker when I turned 16 after the local dealer sold the '98 EX250 I had been planning on buying. Since then I have put over 40 000 km on it. It has been a daily rider and I have also done a few long trips on it. It is a blast to ride.
In 2005 me and my dad completed a week long trip around Gaspe Peninsula in Quebec. I rode my Ninja and he borrowed my cousins 250 Nighthawk as he didn't have a bike on the road at the time. Last summer I headed west on my bike after highschool graduation. I spent five weeks on my bike touring through Canada to the Yukon and Alaska. Then down through BC and back through the northern states. There is nothing like travelling on a motorcycle, you have a more direct connection with the land you ride over and with the people you meet. It was an experience of a lifetime that I look forward to repeating after completing university. Next time will be down the west coast and into South America.
If anyone is ever in Ont I would be glad to go for a ride. |
