| My previous riding experience was on an old Enduro which I used primarily for the daily commute to my salmon troller in the small town of Brookings, OR. It topped out at 45mph. The Ninjette is a whole new ball game but I'm having fun while I'm learning - and vertical.
Mods: Put 2357s in the empty pods and in the center running/brake light as well. Mounted an 8-gal Action Packer a la Payne. Replaced the OEM wind(?)shield with a dark smoke ZGDB. Replaced OEM horn with Fiamm low tone 132db blaster. Replaced the OEM grips with ProGrip 724s Replaced the OEM 14/t engine sprocket with an AFAM 15t. Added a Nelson Rigg MG-950 magnetic tank bag. Added Back Off brake light(s) modulator. Added Genmar Bar Risers Gear: Fulmer AF-S1 helmet, DOT & Snell approved. Fieldsheer Moto.Bar TX jacket , silver & black with CE approved armor in shoulders, elbows and back. Fieldsheer Booster pants, black, with CE approved armor in hips and knees. Oxtar TCS Sport Boot Fieldsheer Ace boots. Fast Company Draggin Jeans (USA) with removable knee/shin armor. TourMaster leather gauntlet gloves (made in friendly Pakistan). HD (yes) peforated leather gloves (made in that big country a little east of Pakistan). Note: I like the Fieldsheer apparel with all CE armor. |
